The Missions Ministry of RSBC exists to reach people for Christ “…across the streets, across the states and across the seas…” Acts 1:8 has been our model for ministry.  It reads, You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

 

We reach out across the seas by partnering with various missionaries and ministries all across the globe.  We are involved in several partnerships, which have recently included Brazil, Costa Rica, China, Canada, and Africa.  This year, we have mission trips planned for Costa Rica, Brazil and Canada.

 

             

 

We reach out across the states by helping church planters in reaching their target areas.  Our objective is to minister to those who are hurting and hungry for the Truth. In 2011, we sent mission teams to Oregon, Alabama, north Georgia and Mississippi.  Led by Bill Cloys and the RSBC Builders for Christ, we're sending a construction mission team to Mountain View Baptist Church (www.MVBC-Casper.com) in Mills (near Casper), Wyoming Sunday, June 10-Friday, June 15, 2012. Our scope of work is to create a new, two-story addition to the existing church.

 

We reach out across the streets by ministering to those within Cobb County.  Being in the heart of an immigrant area, our church has several volunteers who teach English as a Second Language.  We engage many from the RSBC membership to minister through the Women's Pregnancy Center on our church's campus, Must Ministries of Marietta, food boxes for the hungry, SafeHouse Atlanta, and many other ministries.  We are constantly exploring open doors of needs and new ministry possibilities in our community.
