SONshiners is our monthly Senior Adult gathering. It occurs on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Vision Center, with rare exceptions. We begin with an entertaining program at 11:00am and eat lunch at Noon. The cost for lunch is $5.00 per person. If you are new to SONshiners, and are not contacted monthly by a group leader, you can make a reservation by calling 770.424.9800. Reservations are strongly recommended. Since 1927, from their humble Georgia beginnings, the Morris Brothers have been recognized throughout the country as "Masters of Harmony" as they seek to honor the Lord, Jesus Christ, through their Gospel Bluegrass Music. Along the way, their music has garnered numerous awards and recognition including several #1 rankings on the national charts. Senior Adult Ministries
Homebound Ministry
One of the bright spots in ministry is the ministry to Homebound individuals, whether they are at home or in senior care facilities. JoAnn Whitener is our volunteer co-coordinator over more than 60 faithful RSBC church members who make monthly contact with those who can no longer attend worship services or Sunday School. These volunteers deliver Sunday School literature, specially prepared fruit baskets at Thanksgiving, gifts and/or poinsettias at Christmas and Lilies at Easter and more.

Caring Connections Ministry
Under the leadership of Kathy Hutson, Caring Connections is the Widows Support Group that meets the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00am in Room B-137 for fellowship, encouragement and connection. Senior Adult Choir Ministry
…rejoice in the Lord always and again I say, ‘Rejoice!’
Our Senior Adult Choir is called Rejoice! RSBC’s Minister of Music Joe Buckner leads this joyful group of seniors who make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Rejoice provides worship services in 20 Cobb County senior centers annually. We share "great hymns of the faith," gospel songs, and share the message of Jesus Christ.
There is no requirement to join with the exception of your attendance. Rehearsals take place in the Vision Center (Banquet Hall) on Wednesday afternoons from 4:15-5:00pm during the months of August-May. We take a break durign the summer.

Come travel with us to Atlanta to see “Passages – An exhibit through the story of the Bible”. Space is limited, so please book no later than May 1st. This will be a fun day and very informative!
