Description of Worship Service Styles…
 Blended Worship Service
Merging the foundational truths of God’s Word with modern methodology, our Blended Worship Services are led by Senior Pastor Dr. Ernest Easley. Those who grew up in church may find this worship expression to be familiar. Occurring Sunday mornings at 11:00am in the Worship Center and most Sunday evenings at 6:00pm in the G-Building, our Blended Worship services are frequented by both long-time members and newcomers.
Dr. Easley’s communication style is exegetical. His preaching approach is “verse by verse,” in a way that people of all ages can understand. His love for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ is evident through his relational preaching style and invitation appeal.
The Blended Worship style synthesizes great hymns of the faith with modern “praise & worship” music. The Choir and Orchestra are staple musical ensembles in this worship style as they prompt worship each week.
In the Blended Service, the following Music Ministry ensembles rotate to sing monthly: 4 & 5 Year Old Choir, 1st-4th Grade Choir, 5th-8th Grade Choir (“ReSoUnd”), Men’s Quartet, Ladies Trio, Adult Mixed Ensembles (“Redeemed” & “Sovereign”) as well as various soloists and ensemble groupings.
Contemporary Worship Service
Come as you are! The Contemporary Worship Service (called the Connections Service) is a modern worship expression that values authenticity and the latest use of technology available. A teaching team of speakers share messages in a conversational style. The music style can vary, from “coffee house” to edgy, with songs from Hillsong, Passion worship leaders, contemporary Christian bands or original music. Check us out and bring a friend!
Brazilian Worship Service
Many people don’t know that Cobb County is home to over 40,000 Brazilians. Our Brazilian Service is led by Fabio Cano, our Brazilian pastor. He and a team of musicians share a worship experience in Portuguese/English that is relevant to the Brazilian population. The Brazilian service provides a comfortable and familiar worship environment for those who speak Portuguese and for those who are bilingual.
Children’s Worship Service
Energetic, fun and entertaining are three words to describe our Children's Worship Service. Led by Mark Scardino and a faithful team of leaders, our K-5, 1st graders & 2nd graders are engaged through Bible study, drama, songs, videos, and much more. On occasion our Children’s Worshippers will share a song in the Blended Worship Service.
