Minister of Music & Worship
Adult Choir: Under the direction of the Minister of Music, Joe 
Buckner, the Adult Choir is a non-auditioned group of singers from the age of 18 and up. This large vocal ensemble provides musical worship leadership through calls to worship, anthems and congregational singing weekly in the 9:30 am traditional/blended worship service. We also sing the last Sunday of the month in the 6:00 pm worship service. The Adult Choir teams up with the Orchestra seasonally for Christmas, Easter and July 4th presentations. We also sing in the community from time to time in an effort to reach out to our community.
Rehearsal Time: Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Choir Room
Worship Service: 9:30 am Traditional/Blended Worship Service in the Worship Center

Orchestra: Under the direction of our Minister of Instrumental Music, Hugh Norman, the Orchestra is a non-auditioned group open to anyone who plays a band or stringed instrument. Teenagers and older can participate. The orchestra supplies instrumental selections, accompanies congregational singing, accompanies the Adult Choir and other special music groups regularly in the 9:30 am traditional/blended service each week. This instrumental ensemble teams up with the Adult Choir seasonally for special musical presentations and worship services. The Orchestra will also play “gigs” in the community from time to time in an effort to reach out to our community.

Praise Band/Vocal Team/Horn Line: An auditioned group under the leadership of the Minister of Music, Joe Buckner, the Praise Band/Vocal Team are comprised of guitarists, drummers, keyboardists and singers from teenagers and up. Under the direction of Hugh Norman, the Horn Line consists of trumpet, trombone, saxophone and flute players from teenagers and older. This group leads worship in the 11:00 am contemporary service each week.
Rehearsal Time: Sunday mornings from 7:00-8:30 am in the Worship Center

Children’s Choir: Meeting for the summer semester each year, the Children’s Choir is a group of children who have just completed kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade or 4th grade. These children rehearse throughout the summer and present a musical on a Sunday evening at the end of the summer each year. There are auditioned part opportunities for those who would like to try out.
Rehearsal Time: Wednesday evenings from 5:45-7:45 pm in the Children’s Building

Middle School Choir: Comprised of 5th-8th graders, the Middle School Choir meets in the fall semester of the year. We sing regularly in 6:00 pm Sunday worship services throughout the fall. We’ll also participate with Christmas music in December.

High School Choir: Comprised of 9th-12th graders, the High School Choir meets in the spring semester of the year. We sing regularly in 6:00 pm Sunday worship services throughout the spring. We’ll also do an end-of-semester musical presentation.

Senior Adult Choir: Comprised of senior adults of all ages, the Senior Adult Choir meets from August through May. We sing regularly in area nursing facilities, in worship, at the monthly Sonshiners meeting and in the Wednesday afternoon Bible Study in the Vision Center. This non-auditioned group of seniors love to be together and they love to make a joyful noise in the Lord.
