I had the privilege of being raised in a Christian home and in a healthy church in Dallas, Texas. While attending children¹s camp one summer, I realized on a Thursday night that it was time for me to follow Jesus! Since that blessed night at the age of nine, I have been learning more about the wonderful love and grace of God.

As a young boy, I knew that God had a special calling upon my life. I struggled with knowing what that call was for years. Perhaps it was to be a missionary. Perhaps it was to have a career in student ministry. But, I knew it was not to be a pastor, much less a preacher!

God slowly began to change the desires of my heart. It was not until my second semester of seminary that I once-and-for-all settled God's calling upon my life to be a pastor/preacher of the Gospel. Since then, I have never looked back!

• I believe His Word to be inerrant and infallible.
• I believe that the priorities of His church are to exalt the Savior, equip the saints, and evangelize the sinners!
• I believe that media ministries are wonderful tools for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• I believe that God has called us to have a world vision for reaching the peoples of our generation for Jesus.
• I believe that for a local church to be effective in outreach, our theology must not change, but our methods must.
• I believe that the future of Roswell Street Baptist Church is as bright as the promises of God!
